Festive family fun with Kristina Stephenson

Come along to the Spitfire Cafe at Cross Keys Shopping Centre for a magical morning of festive family fun with the Rocketship Bookshop and local author/illustrator Kristina Stephenson.  

There will be interactive storytelling based on Kristina’s joyful retelling of A Christmas Carol (Puffin/Illustrations by Hoang Giang), and Kristina will be signing copies of the book in the bookshop at the event. Children will also have the chance to make a magical snowman in a jam-jar and there will be glorious live music and sing-along-songs from brilliant local musicians.

We can’t promise snow but we can promise a magical morning, a mince pie and masses of festive fun. 

In the spirit of the season this event is free of charge and you can spread that magic by giving someone a book this Christmas. Jo and Russell will help you make the perfect choice. You might even consider buying two – one for you and one for someone else who might find it difficult to buy a book this year.
