Stories for an Unwritten World

Welcome to The Rocketship Bookshop, the new independent bookshop for children and young people, situated in the heart of Salisbury city centre.

Here at our shop we want to celebrate the future and help children and young adults to take control of theirs. We believe that independent bookshops, with knowledgeable, enthusiastic booksellers and a vibrant, inclusive atmosphere, can be a force for good in children’s lives. As well as stocking a range of exciting titles for babies, children and young adults, we will also have a specially curated section for adult titles and local authors. We want children to feel involved in the shop, so we’ll be listening to their suggestions too.

Our shop is on three floors with plenty of space for families to come and relax, play and explore. We may have our eyes on the future, but our building has a past that we also want to celebrate. 5 Bridge Street was once home to the much loved Everyman Bookshop that ran from the seventies to the early nineties and we are delighted to take up the mantle of passionate bookselling on Bridge Street once again.

Please do get in touch with us on info@rocketshipbookshop.co.uk if you would like any more information.

We can’t wait to welcome you to The Rocketship Bookshop!

Opening times:

Monday-Saturday 9.30am-5pm.
