Join us on Wednesday 10th August as we welcome the author, Hannah Moffatt, to the Rocketship to celebrate her new novel, Small!, with a Giants themed day!
About Small! –
Harvey is a small boy in a giant world. On stilts! When Harvey accidentally sets fire to his headteacher’s trousers, Mum decides it’s time for a BIG change and packs him off to Madame Bogbrush’s School for Gifted Giants. But Harvey’s not a giant. He’s a boy on stilts. And if his classmates find out, they’ll stomp him into a sandwich!
Hannah will be hosting two giant themed creative writing workshops during the day, and there will also be storytime as Jo reads from our favourite giant based storybooks.
Tickets for this event are £1 and they can be redeemed against the cost of Small! on the day. Accompanying adults don’t need to buy a ticket. To book your ticket, please go here

As some of you may know, Salisbury is home to it’s very own giant, who you can visit in the Salisbury museum. It is thought the Salisbury giant, sometimes called St Christopher, dates back to the 1400’s. He stands at 12ft high and is accompanied by his mischievous companion Hob-Nob.
